Before turning 25, I felt like I was gettin' old. Or at least like I could have done more (fun, exciting) things during my 25 years of life. So what did I do? I dragged my two best friends with me to go skydiving. It was incredible! The year after that I made a whole list of 26 things I wanted to do, try, or accomplish in the year that I was going to be 26. It was fun, but maybe a bit too much. So for my 27th birthday I decided to do things a little bit different. I made a full-on bucketlist (although I must admit, I've never really cared for that word very much). Over the years I've kept, and will keep, adding things on. Luckily, I've already been able to cross off a few items. To make an unnecessarily long story a little bit shorter... here is my ever growing and ever changing bucketlist (or whatever you want to call it):
Find a better job- June 12th 2013: Got hired! It isn't my dream job quite yet, but I'm slowly moving up in this strange world- Run in a race
Go on a (small) trip by myself- June 2014: Spend 4 weeks travelling through Bali by myself. It was scary, beautiful, liberating and pretty darn awesome!- Get my drivers license
Find my own apartment (I've been living on my own for years, but I currently have to share my kitchen and bathroom with someone, I'd like to change that)- July 15th 2012: Moved to my very own, very cute (albeit somewhat tiny, but I don't mind) apartment! Whoa!- Travel often
- Learn to play the piano
- Learn to understand and speak a foreign language - June 2016: I've started learning Spanish
- Go to Paris by myself
- Try yoga
- Take more pictures
- Walk on the beach more often (and at least once get there before the sun gets up)
- Get a tattoo
- Go to Africa
- See an elephant in the wild
- Experience holi in India
Go on a hot air balloon- August 7th 2015: It was awesome!- Go paragliding
- See fireflies
